HOW IT ALL STARTED

Fitness has always been an important part of my life. From playing every sport available to me as a kid, to learning new lifts in the gym as an adult, health and fitness has been an integral part of my everyday routine. Despite having an appreciation for exercise, however, I didn’t think I was ever going to end up working in the health and fitness industry.

Since the first time I was asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” I have known that whatever I did, I wanted to be helping people. Being a part of the reason someone smiles is my passion in life, and I have tried many outlets in search of the one that would allow me to match passion with career.

I started out in politics and achieved a Bachelors and Masters degree in Political Science and Global Governance. While I loved what I learned, and still use it to this day, I realized that route was not the one I wanted to take. While studying, I built a career in hospitality, again, helping others in a different way. I also tried and fell in love with the humanitarianism route, and built several homes in different countries, but I still wanted to be able to do more.

I TURNED TO FITNESS

It was during the chaos of the pandemic that I turned to fitness. I focused on my own health, exercising daily, trying to remain as healthy as possible both mentally and physically. I set goals for myself, giving myself something to continue working towards. I learned new things about how my mind and body worked. I found myself asking questions, pushing my physical and mental boundaries, and wanting to share everything I was learning with those around me. It made me feel great to see people uncovering their true potential, growing in confidence and in health. That is when I decided I wanted to become a personal trainer and use my knowledge and passion to help people gain confidence, improve their health and fitness, achieve their goals, and become the best versions of themselves.

When you train with me, you can trust that you are in good hands. I lead with knowledge, teaching you about how your body works, and aim to help you build confidence to walk into the gym, trusting that you know what you are doing.
